"It is a win-win for children throughout the St. Louis area."

Each year during the month of April credit unions across the country, spotlight their efforts to help parents and schools educate young people on the importance of saving and learning how to spend responsibly. "It's nice to have an entire month that benefits youth financial literacy and CMN," said Josh Purler, Marketing Manager for Alliance Credit Union. "Both are important causes to our credit union and staff. Youth Month is something that we look forward to each year."

This is the St. Louis Chapter of Credit Unions' second year combining Credit Union Youth Month with a benefit for CMN. "The Chapter is a not-for-profit organization composed of area credit unions that work together to promote the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" through financial education events, as well as collaborative involvement in charitable causes," explains Lisa Farnen, Vice President of Marketing with Electro Savings Credit Union. "We see combining Credit Union Youth Month with CMN as a perfect fit."
