1st Financial Federal Credit Union Becomes A Part Of Youth In Need's Safe Place Program
1st Financial has partnered with Youth in Need, a non-profit child and family services agency, by becoming a member of the Sage Place Program. Safe Place educates young people about the dangers of running away, provides them with a network of "safe places," or youth friendly businesses across the St. Louis metropolitan area during times of crisis. This program is successful because youth in crisis are more inclined to go to a Safe Place in their community than to seek out a shelter.
"We continue to put into practice the credit union philosophy of 'People Helping People' everyday in our communities," states Michelle Rosner, Vice President of Marketing. "That is why we are proud to support Youth in Need's Safe Place Program."
1st Financial Federal Credit union provides a low-cost alternative to traditional banking through products such as free checking, low rates on loans, competitive savings rates, free internet banking, competitive mortgages, low fees, and more.
